- Administer emergency first aid to patients whilst the ambulance arrives
- Aid ambulance crews once arrived with what ever is needed

- Picking up sick and injured animals from local addresses
- Transporting animals to the hospital
- Ensuring information transfer from finder and hospital
WELCOME TO MY SITE
I am a local person living in Basingstoke, Hampshire. I have always had a sense of wanting to give back to the community and I thought I would document the comings and goings of being a community volunteer, as there is precious little information about the roles I have found myself doing.
Everything I do I do from the comfort of my car (left) and I receive no financial benefit towards mileage, time or wear and tear, nor do I want to – that’s not why I do it after all.
A BRIEF INTRODUCTION
I am S a simple self employed software developer who is lucky enough to work from home, which gives me the opportunity to give back to my local community by supporting 2 awesome charities, supporting both the nature and people within it.
